Independently tested and proven to be five times warmer than a standard baselayer, the Ultimate provides instant heat the moment you put it on and doesn’t rely on compression or tightness to keep you warm. There is no need for multiple additional layers thanks to the warmth generated by the innovative Heat Threads on the inside of the garment. These technologically enhanced Heat Threads are activated through even the slightest movements, gently brushing against the skin to generate warmth instantly, while the construction of the Ultimate ensures that heat is retained. Unlike other baselayers, the Ultimate does not work on the basis of compression for heat – so not only does it provide greater warmth, but it also allows incredible freedom of movement, making it one of the most comfortable baselayers available. It also features a slightly looser neckline design, which allows some heat to travel away from the body; during testing, a tighter neckline was found to cause overheating.
