This 2011 '11 plate BMW R 1200 GS Triple Black was a limited-edition model featuring a distinctive all-black colour scheme, using sapphire black metallic paint for the body and other dark accents. Very well spec’d with BMW's Premium Package, including Enduro Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA), heated grips, hand guards, TPMS, spoke wheels, ABS, On-Board trip/info computer - a lot of bike for under six-grand and a great introduction to the world of big, comfortable, shaft-drive adventure touring bikes!
This TU model is powered by the revised 110hp at that time with a dual-overhead cam (DOHC) boxer-twin engine. This one is fitted with additional engine case protection covers and BMW’s 3-box expandable Vario luggage! First registered in June 2011 and is barely run-in for one of these, as this GS has less than 20,000 miles covered between the 3 former owners.
